| "We purchased the model S18TC12RH unit from GEC Instruments in June 2005. This custom unit has 18 thermocouple channels and 12 relative humidity channels. It came with 24 gage thermocouples calibrated to better than 0.1°C accuracy, and with 12 humidity transmitters calibrated to 1% accuracy. We use this unit to continuously measure and record temperature and humidity at various locations in a controlled storage unit with over 100,000 chemical compounds. Accuracy and reliability of the measurements are crucial in this application. We like the instrument very much and the software is very easy to use."
