| "I am using the model S16TC thermocouple instrument from GEC Instruments to measure skin temperatures and internal muscle temperatures on human subjects undergoing heat or cold treatment modalities in sports injury research. I like its accuracy and portability, and the ability to plot temperature data in real time while starting and stopping the logging of different thermocouples independently of one another. I have used a number of other temperature measurement instruments in this research and the S16TC unit from GEC Instruments is my preferred tool for data collection. The software is awesome and the instrument is accurate to 0.1°C or better when compared against our precision ASTM certified glass thermometers."
