PinPoint Monitor (PPM) is the main program used for display, plotting and logging of temperatures.

PinPoint Settings (PPS) is used to set the Com Port, the default
temperature units, and the configuration file for PPM.

PinPoint Viewer (PPV) is used to view, plot and export data from logged files.

PinPoint Parser (PPP) can be used to create configuration files which
enable faster scanning of fewer channels.

TCConfig Download

TCConfig is a software application that enables users of GEC thermocouple scanners to use custom polynomial coefficients for different lots of calibrated thermocouple wire.  This application supports wire types B, E, J, K, N, R, S or T.

When using custom calibrations, the measurement accuracy of the system will be limited by the accuracy of the wire calibration and the homogeneity of the thermocouple wire.  All other errors in the GEC system, including reference junction error, are minimal.  Combined instrument errors for GEC thermocouple scanners are usually in the order of 0.01 °C or less.

When TCConfig is installed, it will place a TCC icon on the desktop that will be a shortcut to the application.

Documentation will be at C:\Program Files\GEC\TCConfig

Read New GEC Thermocouple Techniques to learn more about how to use TCConfig.
